Life can be overwhelming. And you don't have to go through this alone.

My office is a space where you can show up exactly as you are and know that your identity will be celebrated and affirmed, your boundaries will be respected and your humanity will be seen, felt and held.

Co-creating a safe space where you can openly explore thoughts emotions and experiences is how we will begin. Providing creative, personalized care that is unique to who you are, and where you are at is always my priority.

Our work will be experiential - we won’t simply talk around things that are keeping you feeling anxious or low. We will move into and through vulnerability together, at a pace that feels right for you. Together we will identify your strengths, explore your inner resources and help you define who you are and what you want for your life.

Our journey together can include helping you identify stressors, systems of oppression, patterns of behaviour, relationship dynamics and thought loops that are keeping you feeling stuck. We will explore coping strategies that feel good for you, and resource you for navigating life's complexities.

HOW I WORK

I believe that connection is a catalyst for growth and healing. Counselling can provide a safe space to draw on strengths and personal experiences through self-exploration, expression and increased self-awareness.

I work from a client centered lens and I integrate aspects of Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Emotion-Focused Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Accelerated Experiential Dynamic Therapy and Attachment Based Family Therapy into my work. I provide a creative and personalized approach, unique to who you are and where you are at.

My office is an inclusive, queer & trans affirming space and my practice is informed by in an anti-oppressive social justice lens.

MY CLIENTS

My clients are youth (12+), adult individuals, parents and families. Many come to counselling seeking support when they are experiencing anxiety, stress, low mood, family and relationship conflict, school refusal and life transitions.

My clients find that counselling offers an opportunity to identify and restructure negative patterns of interaction in relationships. This work allows clients to create meaningful moments of connection and healing in their lives.

I work to provide a creative and personalized approach to counselling, and focus on building a safe, trusting and collaborative relationship with each client.
